At a recent executive committee meeting President Phil Troy announced the following appointments: Bobb Chaney, Stu MacPhail,Leon Warner, Jim Oppenheimer, Whit Miller, Pete Pfolliott, John Kelley, John Beatty,Wood Foster, Fred Gamble, Sherm Davis and Clark MacGregor, together with the officers, executive committee; Bobb Chaney, publicity; Bob Krieger, Newsletter; Bob Goss, historian; and Wally Benjamin, directory.

Under Phil Troy's dynamic leadership the Association can expect to have lots of fun this year. First on the schedule—a SQUARE DANCE, held May 11. The traditional ANNUAL PICNIC will be held during the last part of June at Thrall's farm. The second annual SEPTEMBER PICNIC is expected to be bigger and better this fall and will be held at a place yet to be announced. More about fall events in later bulletins.

Whit Miller and Jim Oppenheimer planned and held a festive and gala SQUARE DANCE at the Edina Legion Hall, May 11. Jack Beatty,Fred Gamble and Arnie Oss accumulated numerous prizes and raffled them off to lucky ticket holders.

The regular Monday luncheons at the Dyckman have become enormously popular. Wood Foster came over from St. Paul recently; Herb Bissell and Don Fox have come in from Honeywell; Henry Thrall stopped by on his return from California; Whit Miller and JackBeatty have driven in from Toro and RedLoudon; Stu MacPhail, Bob Krieger, BillTaylor, Hal Wonson, John Kelley and TedGaver are among the regulars. Drop in next Monday for a visit and for the latest word on doings in Hanover and in the Association.

FLASH-As this report goes to press, JohnKelley and Steve Osborne report that these fine boys have been admitted to the Class of '55: Dave Heegaard, Paul Hommeyer, Dick Larson, Jay Olson, John Rossiter, Jud Synder, Dave Strieker, Steve Wangensteen and Tom Wittenberg of Minneapolis; Victor Hauser and Bruce Moick of St. Paul; Fred Hector of Fargo; and Al Saier of Ennis, Montana. Let's all give these boys a big welcome at the JUNE PICNIC.
