"The Athletic Situation at Dartmouth" was the subject of a talk by' Professor J. P. Richardson, faculty representative on the athletic council, at the weekly smoker of the Senior Eating Club, March 6.

Professor J. D. McCallum, of the-Department of English, addressed a meeting of the Philosophical Club, March 6, speaking on "The Aesthetics of Croce."

Chaplain Janeway preached March 9 at the Harvard Church Brookline, afternoon service, and in the evening at Milton Academy, Milton, Mass.

Professor E. F. Clark, Secretary of the College, addressed the Senior class at the weekly smoker, March 13, on the duties of alumni and the work of the Alumni Council and the Secretaries Association.

An account of the university system of Paris was given by Professor C. E. Bolser, of the Department of Chemistry, at a meeting of the Le Cercle Francais February 26.
