THE GENERAL CATALOGUE

Before this issue reaches subscribers the new edition of the General Catalogue should have been delivered to those who placed advance orders. The volume, prepared in the Office of Alumni Records, contains 1000 pages and covers in its scope the life of the College. Presidents, trustees, administrative officers, members of the faculty and students, graduate and non-graduate, will be found listed with addresses for the living. Brief biographical mention is also made where material was available and this is true in the vast majority of cases. The same procedure is followed for the associated schools as for the academic college and a study of the new edition in comparison with earlier ones will reveal a mass of information concerning former students never before available in catalogue form

The book concludes with three indexes, one of the officers of the College, a geographical index listing living graduates and non-graduates as to residence, and a general index for the book as a whole. The volume presents an up-to-date Dartmouth work of reference.

About 800 copies were ordered in advance and a sufficient number have been printed to care for additional demands. The book maybe ordered through the office of the Treasurer, Hanover, N. H., at a cost of $3.00
