BASEBALL SQUADS WORK OUT IN GYM CAGE

Early baseball practice for the southern trip has been greatly held up by weather conditions. As we go to press, Coach Tesreau has not yet been able to get his men out doors and the first game is with the University of Virginia at Charlottesville on March 28. About 35 men reported early in March to compete for infield and outfield positions. Battery candidates have been out nearly six weeks.

Coach Hazelton has a squad of about 35 freshmen working out in the gym. The number includes three pitchers, five catchers, 13 infielders and six outfielders.
