With a total score of 28 points, Dartmouth finished the New England intercollegiates 3½ points ahead of Brown and won the title despite the fact that metropolitan sport writers had figured that the Green team was not in the running. Brown was trailed by Williams with 22 points, Wesleyan with 16 and Amherst with 2. Once again the relay race settled the meet and Dartmouth avenged its defeats in the intercollegiates last year and at Providence earlier this year to the complete satisfaction of every one.

Since he found himself the only man who could cover the length of the pool, Bogart won the plunge easily but did not lower the record again. Coles of Brown was the meet s highest scorer taking first in both dash events.
