Class of 1860

Rev. John W. Hayley of Tuftonboro, N. H., celebrated his ninety-first birthday at his home on June 8, receiving callers through the day. As he lives alone and is his own housekeeper, he .made his own birthday cake, decorating it with ninety-one candles. Mr. Hayley is the author of several biblical and theological books, and at the age of eighty-nine wrote and published a history of Tuftonboro.

Ann McDaniel Jackman, wife of Samuel H. Jackman, died May 28 at their home in Sacrajnento, Cal.
