Felix Valyi, Hungarian expert on Eastern Affairs and Oriental History opened a series of three lectures in Dartmouth Hall, November 30, on "The Spiritual and Political Evolution of Asia."

Mr. Valvi, who was the founder in 1913 of the "Revue Politique Internationale" and who lectured before the European Center of the Carnegie Foundation in 1922, has written many books on Asiatic politics and during the past summer was a guest of the Institute of Politics at Williamstown.

In his opening lectures Mr. Valyi traced the developement of Asia along political lines and explained the progress of the Mongol, Ottoman, and other races. The subject of his third lecture was "Progressive Forces in Islam."
