"Quechee" Safford is secretary of the Dartmouth Association of the Southwest.

Greater St. Louis for November, 1925, contains pictures of a group of nine newly elected directors of the Chamber of Commerce of St. Louis, of whom Harold M. Hess is one. In an accompanying article he is described as "secretary of the American Central Insurance Company for the last six years; serving his second term as director of the Chamber of Commerce; vice-chairman of the Chamber of Commerce metropolitan committee, chairman of the joint fire prevention committee of the Chamber of Commerce and the St. Louis Safety Council; member of the executive committee of the Safety Council; formerly manager of the Missouri Inspection Bureau; member of the Missouri Athletic Association."

Judge "Jerry" Mahoney of the North Andover Police Court has recently had some highly favorable newspaper notice on account of his comment in court on the conduct of various persons who have attempted to influence his decisions as to the punishment of offenders.

The death of Earle E. Wilson's wife was recently noted in the MAGAZINE, and this blow has been followed by the death from diphtheria of a young son.
