The standing committee of the Episcopal diocese of New Hampshire has appointed the Rev. Allen William Clark, 8.D., rector of St. Thomas Church to succeed the Rev. John T. Dallas now vicar of the Cathedral church of St. Paul in Boston and Bishop-elect of the state. The Rev. Mr. Clark has accepted the appointment and has assumed his new duties. He first occupied the pulpit in Hanover on Sunday, Februay 21.

Mr. Clark was graduated from Harvard in 1918. He studied three years at the Union Theological Seminary in New York after which he took a course at the Episcopal Theological School in Cambridge, Mass., and was graduated from there in 1923 with the degree of Bachelor of Divinity. Since June, 1923, he has been a member of the staff of St. Paul's Cathedral in Boston. '
