Chester B. Curtis of St. Louis represented Dartmouth at the recent inauguration of Albert Britt as tenth president of Knox College, Galesburg, Ill.
Rev. Ozora S. Davis, D.D., president of Chicago Theological Seminary, spoke recently to the St. Louis Ministerial Alliance on some plans for enlarging and broadening the courses of study for theological students. Laboratory and research methods in the technique of preaching and pastoral work will be followed more and more, besides the study of theology, philosophy, and history, and from an angle more practical than in the past. The clergyman of today must be a well-trained leader, for he must be administrator, preacher, teacher, moral counselor, and priest.
