The formal installation of Rev. George S. Mills, D.D., as pastor of the Wellington Avenue Congregational church of Chicago took place on January 13. The ecclesiastical council, composed of twenty-two churches and nine individuals, met in the afternoon, and after listening to Dr. Mills' written statement voted unanimously to approve. At a dinner to the invited guests Henry H. Hilton '90 was one of the two after-dinner speakers. At the installation service in the evening the sermon was preached by Rev. Dr. Ozora S. Davis '89, president of Chicago Theological Seminary, the charge to the pastor was given by Rev. Dr. Charles C. Merrill '94, superintendent of the Congregational Conference of Illinois, and the installation prayer by Rev. William F. English, Jr., '08.
