PROFESSOR GRIER PRESENTS SCIENTIFIC PAPERS

The following papers were presented at the holiday meetings of the American Association for the Advancement of Science:

Before the Botanical Society of America: "The Cultivated Flora of the Vicinity of Cold Spring Harbor, New York" by N. M. Grier and C. R. Grier.

Before the American Society of Zoologists: "A Mussel Survey of the Upper Mississippi River" by N. M. Grier and R. H. Young, Northwestern University Medical School.

Before the Ecological Society of America: "The Formation and Vegetation of Islands in the Upper Mississippi River" by N. M. Grier.

Professor Grier, who is a member of the Department of Evolution, will be in charge of the course in Systematic and Field Botany at the Biological Laboratory, Cold Spring Harbor, New York, during the coming summer.
