The annual dinner of the Dartmouth Club of Lowell was held April 4 at the Vesper Country Club at Tyngsboro, with approximately forty members present. The meeting was presided over by President Robert F. Marden.
After a very enjoyable dinner, the gathering listened to short talks by Captain Nathan K. Parker and James Oberlander of the championship 1925 football team. Both men emphasized the importance of comradeship on the field, and also the great benefits derived from the new training system, which has been worked out during the past two or three seasons.
Prof. Leon B. Richardson of the department of chemistry made the address of the evening, speaking of the purpose of the College, and the methods which have been inaugurated this year to further that purpose.
The club had as its guest Richard Brabrook Walsh, the president of the Lowell Harvard Club, who spoke briefly of his pleasure at being invited to join us and of his hope that, in the near future, the two clubs might combine for a dinner or function of some sort.
