A Perfect Weekend

The Cornell game was played before 15,000 people despite the rumors, which were current the week before, that it was almost impossible to reach Hanover by auto or train. A number of girls at Vassar, Smith and Mount Holyoke cancelled their dates at the advice of their deans, who thought the journey to Hanover too risky. Nevertheless the fraternity dances were held Friday and Saturday nights, 427 fair guests attending the house parties given by 21 out of the 26 fraternities at Dartmouth. The thrilling game, the weather and the girls made the week-end a perfect one.
