There was held the usual class dinner after the Dartmouth-Harvard football game in Boston. The following were present: J. M. Blakey, Wm. L. Blossom, Edward A. Burnett, Charles L. Carpenter, Joseph T. Cunningham, William H. Dartt, Herbert E. Gage, Eugene S. Head, Fred A. Howland, George E. Johnson, Sydney E. Junkins, Dr. Wm. T. Merrill, Albert H. Pike, Wilder D. Quint, Emerson Rice, Winfred S. Ross, A. C. Willey. There were also present E. Cate and Dr. Lougee of '88 and Dr. David N. Blakely, Dr. Robie, and Mr. Wellman of '89. Classmate Carpenter, fully recovered from a long and serious illness, planned to return to Porto Rico in November. He was made the recipient of a beautifully engrossed and illuminated booklet as a token of the esteem and love of his classmates. The booklet was prepared by W. S. Ross and signed by the members of the class present at the Fortieth Reunion last June.

Governor Weeks of Vermont has appointed Fred A. Howland emergency finance commissioner of the state, to serve in the period of reconstruction to follow the state-wide disaster by flood.
