In a game played at Springfield, Mass., February 21 Dartmouth's hockey team had little difficulty in winning from Massachusetts Institute of Technology by a score of 7 to 1. This game had originally been scheduled to be played at Hanover before the mid-year examinations but had been postponed because of poor ice conditions. The encounter was list less but served to prepare the Hanover sextet for the season's finale with Harvard.

Playing a return engagement against Harvard, the only team by which it had been defeated during the season, the Dartmouth hockey team battled through three overtime periods which brought the total of playing time to 90 minutes, to secure a draw. The. game was the hardest played of the entire season and showed the two teams to be evenly matched.
Harvard acquired a lead early in the first period of the encounter when Spanelli, a substitute defense man, drove the puck past Bott and into the. Dartmouth net. In the second period Coady of Harvard added another counter to the Crimson score. Dartmouth had been prevented from scoring until as the second period was drawing to a close R. Fryberger counted on a swift pass from Lane. In the third period Lane evened the score for Dartmouth, skating up fast to drive in a hard shot from a side angle.
Three over-time periods were played in an endeavor to untangle the knotted score but both teams showed unusual defensive strength and neither was able to add a point. The game was played before a capacity crowd at the Boston Arena, where in the preivious meeting of the teams Harvard had scored a 4 to 2 decision over the Green.
