NORTH CHINA ALUMNI REDUCED IN NUMBERS

Word has recently been received from Dr. H. E. Meleney '09 that the Dartmouth Alumni Association of North China is still in existence although greatly reduced in numbers. Dr. Meleney, the new secretary writes: "We are very few now, only two in Peking and two others in North China. All of us may be out of China before long but while we are here we are still a Dartmouth unit. The activities of the Association this year so far are a luncheon on October 9 at which Dr. H. S. Houghton, Director of the Peking Union Medical College, who has a son in the freshman class at Hanover, was elected an honorary member.
