On October 30 last the Plymouth Congregational church of Fargo, N. D., dedicated a triple panel stained glass window, placed in its chancel by gift of Park Washburn Stickney (1908) in memory of his father, Edwin Huntington Stickney, D. D., long a member of the church.
The windows are designed to reproduce the jeweled splendors of the glass fabricated by medieval craftsmen for the famous Gothic cathedral at Chartres, France. The dedication was in part as follows: "To the gracious 'memory of Edwin Huntington Stickney, valiant minister of the Gospel of Christ, loyal interpreter of the Way in his personal life, sacrificial and radiant follower of the gleam in hard places, worthy successor of the Pilgrim Fathers and their spirit, "We dedicate these windows.
"For the holy purpose of reminding us of his loyalty to God, of his incarnation of the spirit of Jesus, and of his lasting and worthy service to the children of men, that we may feel inspired to walk in the same way,
"We dedicate these windows."
