CLASS OF 1878

The board of education of New York city on the 29th of September unanimously reelected Dr. Andrew W. Edson associate superintendent of schools, taking occasion to pay special tribute to the high quality of his administration of the office.

Rev. Charles H. Pettibone, pastor of the Congregational church at West Palm Beach, Fla., was made a Doctor of Divinity by Rollins College, Florida, at the last commencement.

Lewis Parkhurst is a member-elect of the Massachusetts Senate.
