Things were a little slow these last few months, so I’m going to indulge a bit and tell you about Paresh Mital’s wedding, which took place in April in California. A grand affair, for sure, made more special by the fact that we were able to get the entire group of our off-campus living group together—a first in years (I think we’ve all been there, right?). That group included Justin Snyder (living in London, married to Subitha Subramaniam, parents of two girls), Brett Kelleran (living near Seattle, married with two boys), John Davi (living in Ridgefield, Connecticut, married, three kids), Eric Vratimos (living on Chicago’s north shore, married, two kids), Ben Crawford (living outside D.C., married, three kids) and Tom Brodie (living in Ridgewood, New Jersey, married with two kids).

The class of 1992 women were well represented, too, led of course by my hot date, Jessie Levine (town manager of New London, New Hampshire). We were joined at the ceremony by Jen (Sandoval) Faherty and her husband, Mike, and we even had a few crashers in Christine Blanchet and Melissa (Rich) Skehan, who made the trip south from the San Francisco area. We had three great days together on the left coast and it was great to catch up on everyone’s lives. There was the inevitable “we need to do this more often” (again, who hasn’t done that with their close Dartmouth friends?) and I hope it happens.

With that in mind I’m going to throw another question out there for people to answer for this notes section: Do we have any people out there who do get-togethers with classmates? Does it include families or is it just a guys/girls weekend type of thing? Is it annual, more or less frequent than that, or around an event? You get the idea. I—and I’m sure a lot of your fellow classmates—would love to find those of our classmates who have found the way to get it done and what they do!

(A reminder on the question from the last issue: Any big plans for your 40th birthday? Or, if you already had it, did you do anything special?)

As we were pretty filled up last time around, I wanted to make sure I got to this note from Josh Marks that came a few months back: “I am wrapping up my 12th year in Atlanta, where I am a partner in a medium-sized law firm and specialize in environmental, real estate and nonprofit law. My wife, Hedy, and I recently welcomed our third child, Ella Cate; she joins big brothers Jacob and Charlie.”

Christmas came a bit late for me this year, as well, when Steve Andrzejewski sent his family’s holiday letter, and then Brad and Kristen (Morrow) Johnson followed suit! Steve and his wife, Katie, are the proud parents of four kids, most recently the arrival of twins on March 14, 2008. So they are full on with the parenting thing! They are living in Baldwinsville, New York. As for the Johnsons, they are enjoying life with their boys Owen and Gus. Kristen added a note saying that she had seen some classmates over the holidays, including Ellen (Davis) Parish, Joy (Knauf) Chun and Mary Breen. As Kristen wrote, “Joy is enjoying new motherhood, Mary is a pro with four Kids under 5, and Ellen and I each have two. However, Maureen (McGrath) Hahn wins the Busiest Mom Award with six and counting in South Carolina!”
