Dartmouth 48—Perm 6

The gym team in its first meet of the year defeated the University of Pennsylvania at the Alumni Gymnasium February 25 by the score of 48-6. The Green performers took first and second places in every event.

Capt. L. M. Sadler '28, the intercollegiate parallel bar champion, and C. G. Zey '30 tied for individual scoring honors with eight points each, Sadler winning a first place on the horizontal bar and a second on the parallel bars, while Zey won the flying rings event and placed second in the rope climbing contest.

Dartmouth 44—M. I. T. 10

In their third meet of the season March 10 the Dartmouth gym team, winning every first place, defeated the M. I. T. team 44-10. In each of their contests to date, the Green acrobats have been victorious, winning every first and losing only one second place. Captain Sadler of the Dartmouth team, by virtue of wins in the horizontal bars and the parallel bars, was high scorer.

Dartmouth 30—Navy 24

Shattering the Navy's 11-year-old record for undefeated gym teams, Dartmouth in the last meet of the current season trounced the Middies 30-24, March 17. This is the first time in 13 years that the Indians have defeated Annapolis. The Navy lost its last meet in 1917 to Princeton.

Captain Sadler was the high scorer for the meet, taking one first and one second. The team garnered five firsts, one second and two thirds.

As in the Princeton meet, the deciding factor was the rope climb, which resulted in a tie on the first trial between Russell and Galbraith of the Navy, but in the extra test the Hanover man won by a tenth of a second.

Two additional meets on this trip to Anna- polis resulted in a victory over Army at West Point, 34-20, and a defeat at Princeton 30 1-223 1-2. This is the only defeat Pat Kaney's men have suffered this season. Dartmouth won the intercollegiates last year.
