Class of 1888

F. C. Avery has resigned the principalship of the Stamford (Conn.) High School, which he has held for twenty-four years, the resignation to take efifect at the close of the present school year. In accepting the resignation the school board elected Mr. Avery principal emeritus, in which position it is expected that his work will be very valuable in the field of pupil guidance, advice, and assistance.
