Charles F. Eichenauer '05 has contributed an article to The Editor and Publisher and the Fourth Estate for April 14, 1928, on "OneNewspaper Towns Test Editors' Powers." Mr. Eichenauer is the editor of the HeraldWhig and Journal of Quincy, Illinois. The article discusses the lack of competition in many cities, showing how this fact calls for unusual initiative of editorial executives if newspapers are to be zealous in news policy and courageous in leadership.
