As the cool October days changed to the crisp wintry weather of November, Dartmouth's football season progressed through an amazing succession of games which left those people who describe them breathless. Into this space of a single month were jammed contests with Harvard, Yale, Brown, Cornell and Navy, five games which for highlights and lowlights go unparalleled in Green football history. Just for the sake of the figures alone, here are the scores: Dartmouth 34 Harvard 7 Yale 16 Dartmouth 12 Dartmouth 13 Brown 6 Dartmouth 18 Cornell 14 Navy 13 Dartmouth 6
Now that Harvard has beaten Yale, the Dartmouth team moves up in the ranking.
MARSTERS OFF FOR A FIRST DOWN The Dartmouth star is here caught at the start of an eight-yard gain which brought the Green a first down against Yale, New Haven, Nov. 2. The Yale end (36) has sensed the play and has not charged in fast, as he normally would, and thus be easily taken out by the tandem interferers, Sutton and Bromberg. Marsters swung sharply to his left on the play, eluded the end and was tackled by the Yale secondary.
