Second Movie Release
FEBRUARY 1929

"Dartmouth College News" in its second edition is now available to alumni associations. The first release of two reels depicting the news of the College in the second semester of 1928 and the fall of this year has been shown at more than 30 Dartmouth meetings throughout the country. The movies are of the 16 mm. size and may be projected with a machine of the "home movie" standard type.

Number two of the 1928-29 series covers the period beginning with the Pow Wow in Chicago November 23 and 24 to the Harvard hockey game at Hanover January 12. Shots of the Pow Wow include the alumni parade from the Stevens Hotel to Soldiers Field where the freshmen defeated Lake Forest Academy, members of the Alumni Council, the football game with Northwestern, college trustees at the Pow Wow, and all of the speakers both at the business session November 23 and at the great banquet that evening. Returning to Hanover the film carries views of new buildings including the Outing Club House on Occom Pond, the gift of the class of 1900. President Hopkins is shown laying the corner stone of the Sanborn English House and the trustees are pictured at their annual fall meeting. Hockey games with Boston Col- lege and Harvard complete the film.

Watch for an announcement from your association for a showing of the latest news in movies from Hanover. The films will be sent to individual alumni desiring them for private showing upon application to the President's office.
