PROFESSOR A. J. SCARLETT of the department of chemistry is a member of the class of 1910. He took his master's degree at Columbia in 1914 and his doctor's degree there in 1917. He was an instructor at Columbia from 1913 to 1917 and was appointed an assistant professor at Dartmouth in 1918. He has been professor since 1924.

W. L. SCOTT, editor of the Dartmouth 1928- 1929 is a native of New Rochelle, N. Y. He came to Dartmouth from Virginia Military Institute and New York University.
PROFESSOR HOWARD F. DUNHAM is a member of the class of 1911. He studied at Montpelier, Harvard, Paris, and Columbia. He taught at Ohio Wesleyan and Ohio State before coming to Dartmouth. He has held his present office since 1916.
SIDNEY C. HAZELTON is at once coach of three teams, freshman football, freshman baseball, and varsity swimming, and head of the department of physical education. He was graduated in the class of 1909 after having had much participation in athletics in college, and after some experience returned to Dartmouth to teach. His freshman teams have made notable records.
