The matrimonial market has been rather weak recently, but with the coming of another spring should begin to pick up. We have the following three items this month to head our congratulations column:

Fred Reed is engaged to Miss Helen Elizabeth O'Connor of Manchester, N. H. Fred is with the Herald and Examiner in Chicago.

Phil O'Connell was married on the thirteenth of April to Miss Eileen Barrett in Worcester, Mass.

Don Lyman is engaged to Miss Helen Macgregor of Minneapolis.

Harry Tinker is now established in Minneapolis as a dentist.

Laurie Wakefield is in the same city with the Minnesota Linseed Oil Paint Company.

Ken Simonds has moved from Florida to New York, and is with the Trojan Engineering Corporation. His new home is in Montclair.

In San Francisco Walt Bauman is with the Great Western Electro-Chemical Company in the capacity of salesman.

Paul Hartstall is an instructor in French at the University of California in Berkeley.

Paul Reed is in San Francisco with the California Co-operative Canneries.

Bill Gleason has headquarters in Fitchburg, Mass., where he is connected with the Simonds Saw and Steel Company.

Chick Wilder, who took his M.A. at the University of North Carolina in 1926, went out last year to Ahmednagar, India, under the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions for a three year teaching term in the Board's high school. He is teaching English and geography in a country where people die of the cold if the thermometer drops as low as 37 degrees, and where the natives spend from two to five dollars a year on clothes and four to eight cents a day on food. There will be a lot of sighs heaved when struggling young executives read this.

Bob Canfield passed the bar exam in New York city this winter and is living in the Village.
