On May 3 and 4 the secretaries gathered in Hanover for their twenty-fifth annual meeting. The high record of attendance customary in recent years was maintained, fifty-six classes being represented by their secretaries or proxies and fifteen association representatives responding to the roll call. The oldest class represented in the person of its secretary was that of 1865, Judge William B. Stevens. The class of 1866 was also represented by its secretary, Henry Whittemore.
Before the opening of the formal business session the secretaries gathered in the reception room of the Administration Building for light refreshments and an informal reunion.
