The spring trips of the outing clubs have been drawing students each week to the windswept spaces above the tree line to return wind-burned and refreshed by rarer air and mountain breezes. Trips have been conducted to Mts. Greylock, Kearsage, Sunapee, Pico, KiUington, Cardigan, Ascutney, Moosilauke, and the College Grant, in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Vermont.
Members of the D. O. C. Mt. Washington trips of this year recently met for dinner and a showing of mountain climbing films.
An agreement lias been made between tie Dartmouth Outing Club and the Hanover Country Club for the use of part of the D.O.C. House by the latter between April 15 and November 1 of this year. With the exception of the check room, the Outing Club will turn over the entire lower floor to the Golf Club.
More than 2300 meals were served to Outing Club members and their guests at the new Outing Club house during the months of February and March. Of this number 486 were lunches, 1323 dinners, 309 teas and 263 were included in banquets, bringing the total to 2381. The house is becoming more and more popular for various group banquets.
