Showings of -"Dartmouth College News," the 16 mm. movies of Hanover life, were given in the Hanover Inn during Commencement. A recently developed machine allowing projection in daylight was used and the lobby of the Inn was filled with alumni and seniors and their families during the showings.

The lastest release of the movies featuring late spring activities on the campus were the most popular with the two reels of Winter Carnival a close second. Alumni clubs and associations will show this fourth and final release of the year's series during the summer and early fall. The films may also be secured for home showings upon application to the President's Office.

The Secretaries' Association, which is sponsoring the movie service, has voted to continue the releases next year. A great variety of subjects has been covered by the films this year, ranging from all branches of sport to action pictures of members of the faculty and old residents of the town. The total footage for the year, as represented in the four releases circulated among the alumni, is about 3,000 feet taking about two and one-half hours for showing.
