Henry Holt and Company, New York, have just published "Essays Toward Truth, Studies in Orientation," second series, selected by Professor Kenneth A. Robinson, William B. Pressey and James D. McCallum.

The issue of Libraries for January, 1930, contains an article, "Reference Work in a College Library," by Arnold K. Borden, Reference Assistant in the Dartmouth College Library.

Mr. Lawrence B. Leighton is the author of a review of G. R. Elliott's Cycle of ModernPoetry in the winter issue of Hound and Horn and of reviews of B. Dobree's Lamp nad Lute and P. H. Frye's Visions and Chimeras in the autumn issue of the same periodical.

The article on English and American literature in the new International Year Book for 1929 was prepared by Professor W. B. Pressey. For the last nine years Professor Pressey has been writing these articles on English and American literature for the Year Book.
