S. K. Ratcliffe, lecturer and journalist and authority on world affairs, gave a lecture in Hanover under the auspices of the Round Table early in the month. His subject was, "The World From London."

Sergei Rachmaninoff, powerful pianist, provided the high point of the season's concert thrills so far, with his performance here in the third concert of this year's series. He did not play "down" to his Dartmouth audience, and he was enthusiastically appreciated by a full house.

Mrs. Hallie Flanagan, director of dramatics at Vassar and recent recipient of a traveling fellowship from the Guggenheim Foundation, gave a lecture on "The Russian Theatre" here under the auspices of the Experimental Theatre, late in January.

The Arts brought Carl Sandburg to Hanover for a reading of his poetry on February 21. More concerning him next month.
