The Arts Keeps Busy

Besides sponsoring the reading by Carl Sandburg, this month's activities of The Arts has included the inauguration of a series of musical afternoons in the Arts Boom, with orthophonic records and brief explanatory talks by Professor Cobleigh, of the Department of Music. The Arts serves coffee afterwards.

The organization also sponsored an exhibit of Austrian reproductions of works by Durer, Rembrandt, Michelangelo, Rubens, and others.

The Arts is continuing work on The Arts Anthology of Undergraduate Verse, which will be published this spring. The poetry is now in the hands of the judges, Professor Childs, Professor McDuffie and Professor Joyce.
