Much of the Outing Club's tradition lies on the scarred, rocky slopes of Mount Washington, highest of New England's peaks, and to its ideal skiing terrain each winter the club sends several parties on three-day skiing and hiking jaunts. This past month three parties made the ascent under varying conditions of weather but with the number of thrills constant and innumerable. The annual senior party including a number of College luminaries returned with glowing descriptions of multifold experiences. All 17 of the men reached the summit in spite of a driving blizzard and enjoyed the breathtaking descent of the lower half of the Carriage Road into Pinkham Notch.
