The program for the week-ends should be of much interest. Climbers are expected to arrive at the summit sometime Saturday afternoon, the Carriage Road being recommended as the safest approach. Six o'clock the next morning will see the guests turning out to spend several hours skiing about the summit. After an early lunch at 11:00, the weekly Down-Mountain-Race will be called at 12:30. For those unfamiliar with DOC terms the Down-Mountain-Race is a thrilling descent against time over the steep zigzags of the upper section of the Carriage Road. And all this—not once a winter, but every week-end of the ski season. The total cost for the stay on the summit, including lodging and three meals, will be three dollars to Outing Club members and three dollars and a half to non-members. Reservations should be made at the Dartmouth Outing Club office in Hanover by the Thursday preceding the desired week-end.
Those who know the call of the ski trail are anxiously awaiting the first fall of snow. On to the "Big Hill!" Ski-heil! Ski-heil!! Ski-heil!!!
