The rotogravure section of the Boston Sunday Herald of December 21 contained a picture of the laying of the cornerstone of Los Angeles County's new $11,800,000 general hospital. Prominent among the half dozen dignitaries in the picture is Dr. William Gerry Morgan, president of the American Medical Association. Mary Pickford and the governor of California are two of the others.

United States Senator George H. Moses lias been engaged to lecture at Dartmouth, with Representative Luce of Massachusetts, March 17 to 20, on the subject of "The National Legislature and Legislation." The lectures are under the auspices of the Guernsey Center Moore Foundation, established in 1920 by H. L. Moore '77.
