Pearson Again Honored
February, 1931

Harlan C. Pearson '93, long time secretary of his class, has again been honored by the governor of New Hampshire in being selected as secretary to the chief executive of the state. Since 1903 he has served as secretary to the governor, a choice which has been universally acceptable during each term to Republicans and Democrats alike. Governorelect John G. Winant has recently announced his appointment to the position which he held when Governor Winant was in office in 1923 and 1924. Mr. Pearson was given the honorary degree of Master of Arts by Dartmouth in 1926 in recognition of his valued services to the State and College.
