The Bronxville High School, of Bronxville, N. Y., is the winner of the Dartmouth plaque which is awarded every year to the high school or preparatory school whose graduates in the freshman class get the highest average scholastic standing during the first semester. The Bronxville delegation was composed of Emerson Day, John Henry Feth and Louis Palmer. Their average scholastic standing was 3.16.

The Riverdale Country School of New York was second with its delegation of three graduates who had an average standing of 2.9 for the first semester of their freshman year at Dartmouth. The New Utrecht High School of Brooklyn, N. Y., followed close with its three graduates who averaged 2.82, closely trailed by the delegation of six from the Erasmus Hall High School of Brooklyn, with a 2.8 average.

Phillips Andover was a close competitor for the honor, with its large delegation of eight graduates averaging 2.7. Other high standing delegations included the New Rochelle High School, of New Rochelle, N. Y.; the Manchester High School, of Manchester, N. H.; and the East Orange High School of East Orange, N. J.

To be eligible for the plaque, the delegation must number at last three men. To be counted with any school delegation a student must have spent his last year at that school.
