Prof. S. G. Patterson, Dept. of Romance Languages, has been notified by Gabriel Hanotaux, member of the French Academy and former Minister of Foreign affairs, that he has been elected to the council in Paris of the COMITE FRANCE-AMERIQUE. This organization which is housed in its own building in Paris is devoted to intellectual relations between France and America.
Edward Tuck is also a member of this organization.
Professor Patterson lectured in French Universities in 1924, and in 1930 lectured at the SORBONNE on aspects of Franco-American Intellectual Relations.
