We have spoken of this before, we are sure, but it occurs to us so often that we have need to say something again. We are of the opinion that we walk more than any other college group in New England. That may be far from the truth, but we always feel pretty proud when we're out walking or riding along Norwich road, or Lyme way, or back up in the hills, and come across one or two or three ranging lazily along. To us, it indicates more certainly than any other thing those things for which we come to stand at Dartmouth. It is a symbol, not of the hold which nature has obtained on us, but of the hold which we have obtained on it. There's really not much we can say—the mere statement of the fact brings the feeling home.
