Sailors, Hear This

Dartmouth alumni families interested in sailing and who plan to be in or near Hanover this summer are invited to become acquainted with the Dartmouth Sailing Club, whose members have the use of several Tech dinghies of the Dartmouth Yacht Club on. Lake Mascoma during the vacation months.

Sailing . instruction for beginners, both adults and children, is offered by the Club, and frequent intra-club races and daily picnics and swimming are also features enjoyed by the members. Sailing cards which entitle one to skipper any of the Club's boats are issued to members as they qualify through a series of practical, nautical tests. The basic qualification is the ability to swim fifty yards.
