Clock
APRIL 1932

Then there is that matter of the Dartmouth Hall clock stopping, for the first time in many years, we are told. We are not sure yet whether it was an act of vandalism or not; at any rate, to the intense surprise of many of the old-timers, one day it was seen to wander quite aimlessly on from one hour to the next with practically no decision in its movements at all; finally, with a weary gesture of its hands, giving up the ghost. We have not yet been able to find if any explanation has been had from the Sage of Observatory Hill, in whose capable hands it has been as long as we can remember.
