Snow conditions, or rather lack of snow conditions in the vicinity of Hanover necessitated the transfer of the ski events of the College Winter Sports Championships on Feb. 21-22 to Moose Mt., where but seven miles away ideal snow conditions were available. In the ski proficiency competition, decided by results in slalom, down-hill, and cross-country, T. D. Mann '33 easily won. S. J. Hannah '35 captured the ski jumping title, while the speed skating championship was awarded to G. P. Heidler '33, and the figure skating championship to L. E. Wakefield '33. The competitions for the ski-proficiency, speed skating and figure skating college championships are innovations this year, and nearly fifty undergraduates were entered.
