Pittsburgh Annual Dinner

The Dartmouth Club of Western Pennsylvania held its annual dinner and meeting at the University Club in Pittsburgh, Wednesday evening, February 24. A very satisfactory turnout of some seventy men made the evening one of more than average success. Alumni, guests, and several Dartmouth prospects were on hand to hear Dean E. Gordon Bill tell them in a very interesting manner about the College and the functioning of the Selective System of admission. The Western Pennsylvania group is always eager to get first-hand information about the College and the activities of its many individuals, and Dean Bill gave this in splendid fashion.

Following dinner the annual meeting was held at which time the following slate of officers was elected to serve for the year 1932-33: President: S. D. Ewart '19. First Vice-President: N. K. Parker '26. Second Vice-President: J. L. Fox '12. Secretary-Treasurer: K. R. Maerker '10. Executive Committee: C. J. Sandy '07, J. E. Norton '28, P. S. Kier '29, F. M. Wenck '26, and J. I. Gearhart '26.

Good old songs familiar to Dartmouth men provided the entertainment for the balance of the evening following the Dean's address, with Pat Hathaway and Joe Egolf performing at the piano in their own inimitable ways.
