Olympic Games Welcome to Dartmouth Alumni
At the annual dinner of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Southern California, April 29, plans were made for the entertainment of Dartmouth men who will be attending the Olympic Games in Los Angeles, July 30-August 14. Fifty-four men met for the occasion, several having come from a distance in order to attend. Frank Brackett '87 came from Pomona and claims regular attendance at these affairs for twenty years. Clark Smith 'BO came from Catalina Island for the dinner. San Francisco was represented by J. P. Townsend '94, R. S. Danforth '08, and A. C. Livingston '15.
The Los Angeles Association will welcome all visiting alumni at the Olympics at their weekly luncheons, held every Tuesday at the University Club at 12:00 o'clock. In the event any alumni wish information regarding the Games or wish to secure addresses of Dartmouth men in Los Angeles they may have this information by writing or calling upon Ashton Castle '24 at the Los Angeles Biltmore Hotel.
