Dean To Speak

Dean Craven Laycock '96 will attend the first of a number of alumni dinners to be given in his honor this year when he meets with the Dartmouth Club of Springfield (Mass.) the evening of November 1. He will be the principal speaker and guest of honor at a dinner of Hartford alumni November 3, and will attend the Yale game the following day. Later in the month, on November 24, the Dean will be the Hanover spokesman at a gathering of Chicago alumni on the eve of the Chicago-Dartmouth game. Dean Laycock has announced his retirement from active administrative duties to take effect at the end of this academic year. He is being urged by alumni to make an extensive tour of the country, to visit most of the organized Dartmouth clubs, during the winter.
