Dartmouth College Publications announces the publication on December 1 of "An Indian Preacher in England," as volume two of the Dartmouth College Manuscript Series. Professor L. B. Richardson has edited the letters and diaries of Samson Occom and Nathaniel Whitaker on their trip to England to solicit funds for Wheelock's Indian school. The book is uniform with volume one of the Manuscript Series, "Letters of Eleazar Wheelock's Indians," which was voted one of the "Fifty Best Books" of 1932. A review will appear in a later issue of the MAGAZINE.

In Recognition of a Distinguished Dartmouth Career The alumni club in Hartford presented Dean Laycock '96 with this testimonial of their affection and respect for him at a dinner given in his honor November 3. The tray carries the signatures of more than 100 alumni. He has seldom failed to pay an annual visit to the Hartford Club during the twenty years that he has been Dean of the College.
