CREEPER
February 1933 J. S. M. '33

We always had a rather grudging admiration for the former conductor of this column. He was verbose and long winded, we admit, but still he had the rebellious air of a true Comp. Lit. major. We heard, recently, sad to relate, a report which caused us to turn away from the scandal monger with a catch in our throat and a suspicion of moisture about the eyes. The former Chair Sitter who is now an instructor at a Connecticut prep school is given, so the report runs, to nocturnal sallyings forth. We may as well come to the point. He is known about the school as "The Creeper" an ominous shadow which leaves small boys to the dangers of the unknown while "IT" seeks diversion about the neighborhood.
