SQUASH

We note with interest that even in these parlous times, there is enough interest in squash to lead to the formation of a varsity team. The team is experimental and no letters will be awarded. All matches are to be played in Hanover, but with the expectation that all visits will be repaid next year with a recognized and organized team.

The new Beta Theta Pi house which we mentioned earlier in the year is rapidly nearing completion. The architecture is to be a colonial adaptation of the Washington mansion at Mount Vernon. The brick with which it was built will be painted white when the house is finished. Here and there we see evidences of fraternity interest in the more outstanding men in the Freshman class. These are the first movements of that insidious institution known as "calling."
