Representative Ed Hunter of Hanover presented to the General Court a joint resolution calling for an appropriation of $10,000 for representation of the state in the Century of Progress convention at Chicago this year. It would allow the expenditure of that sum to be used for the exhibit of arts, industries, and products of the state of New Hampshire.

Ben Bond, as chairman of the board, is back at his desk at the Rochester (N. H.) Trust Company, feeling quite his old self again, after a serious time spent at one of the Boston hospitals.

Dr. Samuel H. Calderwood (Ned's father), for many years a practicing physician in Boston, passed away January 13, 1933, at the age of 78. Dr. Calderwood early established a reputation as a skilful and devoted physician and a public-spirited citizen. His standing in the profession led to his appointment on the Massachusetts State Board of Registration in Medicine, where he gave devoted service for 27 years, occupying the chairmanship for many years.
